Our school blog is a great chance to see what's happening at HQIS in a regular basis. Here you can see daily life as it develops within our campus, browse pictures, and get to know us on a more personal basis.
Students took part in a talent show for the HQIS House Cup competition recently. From singing to piano, violin to dancing, poetry to heavy metal, and even Chinese traditional instruments, the talent showcased throughout the show was truly remarkable. The performance not only showcased the students' versatile side, but also provided them with a platform for cultural exchange, allowing different art forms and styles to collide and spark.
Starting with the singing performances, the stage was set on fire with breathtaking vocal talent. The students showcased their versatility by performing a wide range of songs, from powerful ballads to energetic pop hits. Moving on to the piano performances, the students displayed their technical prowess and musicality on the keys with classical, jazz, ragtime, and contemporary pieces.
The violin and Chinese guzheng performances were equally impressive, showcasing the melodious and expressive qualities of these instruments, while the dancing performances were a feast for the eyes, with students showcasing a wide range of dance styles and genres such as K-Pop and ballet.
