Melissa Markevich: Early Childhood Principal
Hello! My name is Melissa Markevich and I'm excited to tell you a little about myself. I originally began my career in Early Childhood in my hometown of Vancouver, Canada as a Montessori Directress working with children 2-5years old.My educational focus has been on the younger years for the better part of 17 years now, working mainly with children aged 18months-3. In 2005 I decided to challenge myself both professionally and personally moving to Shanghai and I've been here ever since. It's been almost 12 years and it has been an amazing experience for me, I believe in promoting a holistic, global approach to learning, encouraging the child to go further, to support their interests and instill that love of knowledge and hands-on experiences.
