HQIS is equipped with state of the art geothermal heating & cooling system partnered with over 200 solar panels. Combined, these renewable initiatives work to provide HQIS with up to 70% of its daily energy needs.

Fast Facts

Our History

Our school opened its doors in 1997 with just two classes serving eighteen preschool students. Since then, our student population has steadily increased. In 2012 HQIS became an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School authorized to teach the Primary Years Program (PYP).
